Terminally ill patients would be put down for a good reason. Why make patients go through so much pain just to die anyways. As the end draws closer patients feel pain physically and mentally. Feelings are bottled preparing for the end. Patients have no reason that they should be going through pain while fearing death when they can just put themselves down in a swift instant. Terminally-ill patients that are mentally competent can decide whether or not they’d want to take medication that would accelerate their death

Washington, Vermont, California, Oregon, Montana are states that allow assisted suicide. California’s laws are reasonable, patients need two physicians to say they have six months to live and are mentally fit to make the decision.
