Physical aspects of the child ages 6-7 are strongly developing. During this age children are probably losing their first tooth. They are enjoying many aspects of outdoor activities such as jumping rope and riding a bike. They continuously staying busy with many activities such as drawing and painting. The sight has sharpened to that of an adult and continued practice are improving their overall skills.

At this age, you can physically compare growth from the previous 6 months and see a big change. Children are also developing social skills by the multifold in this age too. Some of the differences between 6-7 years old versus 8-9 years are competition starts to develop with the older children while the younger children are still cooperating with each other and sharing.
