I am interested in membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. because I want to carry on the legacy started by the founders. My role models are well respected members of the community and their positive impact on me is why I use my talents for good. Once I did my research, I genuinely felt this was the sorority for me. I am a Christian so I was pleased to find the sorority is based on Christian principles. Public service is what attracted me the most because I love helping those in need. I believe it is my job to pour back into the community so I can make a difference in the world and inspire others to do the same. I admire how the founders wasted no time by marching for women’s right to vote, for if it was not for them I wouldn’t have
