“Please, Moon, let me warn them!” Growled a strong brown dragon. “If we keep them in the dark for too much longer they won't have enough time.”
The black dragon in front of her thought for a moment then said. “You are correct, but we can't just send them a message, we have to ask the council.”
“But you’re second in command! Can't you do something!” The brown dragon said desperately.
“I'm sorry Amber, there's not much I can do, I can talk to the Queen and try to get her to agree with us but that's all. If she says no I can't say or do anything about it.” Moon whispered sadly. “If we wait much longer it will be too late, I see that and you see that, but I can't force the others to agree.”
“I know…” Amber replied softly. “I'm just …show more content…
“I'm sorry for interrupting your conversation, but Queen Sultana is calling a council meeting.”
“Thank you.” Moon said, dipping her head to the blue dragon, who nodded and backed out of the room.
“Come on, at the meeting we can try to convince everyone.” Moon said.
The two dragons walked down the cave towards the large council room . when they entered the room they found the rest of the council already there. In the center of the room was a large stone table, one one side of the table sat Skylar the fire-frost, Songbird the Amazonian, Fish the Ocean tide, and Kowari the Desert sand. On the opposite side of the table sat Icewind the Ice Shard, and there were two empty places ready for Amber the swamp dweller, and Moon the Moonstone. The two dragons walked into the room and sat down waiting for the meeting to start.
A large multicolored dragon entered the room and sat down at the end of the table, “I have called you all here to talk about what must be done about the prophecy.” The dragon said.
Moon immediately stood up and said, “Queen Sultana,” Moon said addressing the multi colored dragon. “I think we should tell them and allow them to decide what to …show more content…
“If you think we should give the dragons our message then please stand up, if you disagree stay sitting.”
Immediately Amber stood up to join Moon and Skylar sat down, Songbird stayed standing, Kowari and Fish stood up as well and that left only Icewind and Skylar sitting down. Queen Sultana stood up and addressed the seven other dragons at the table, “Then it is decided, we will give them our message and hope that we can lead them to make the right choice.”
The eight dragons rose to their feet and gathered in a circle around a drawing of twelve dragons surrounding two large dragons. Once they had all gotten into position they began chanting words in another language. As they chanted a white light appeared in the center of the drawing and slowly expanded until the whole room was filled with a blinding light. The light bounced off the dragon's scales, reflecting back into the air, then the light disappeared, but instead of standing in the council room they were in a large house. White walls stretched to the sky, reaching up for almost 100 dragon lengths, a flat white ceiling lay across the walls, creating a pure white quartz block. Quartz pillars rose into the air and pressed against the ceiling, doors and hallways lined the walls spiraling off into unknown rooms, at the end of one hall a staircase twisted and turned up to the second
