The Case Against Abortion

Should abortions be legal? We all have asked that question before or have been asked that question. Many don’t answer because they don’t want to start a debate or they don’t want to get on the wrong side of others. Some answer with pure honesty on their belief if they are with it or not. I for one, is against it. Not only can you can put the baby up for adoption if you don’t want it, the fetus still feels pain if it is 20 weeks into the pregnancy, and abortion is murder.
Adoption vs Aborting. Many mothers are put into a difficult situation to decide if they should abort their child or put it up for adoption. There are various reasons why many mothers want to abort their baby. Reason could say because of rape, they don’t want to keep a baby

You are killing a human being who isn’t even aware that they are being killed. Many people (even the mother’s themselves) consider the “thing” in the stomachs not a baby. However, doctors themselves consider this “thing” a baby, so meaning they’re killing a baby. Most doctors say they don’t like aborting babies once they hit ten weeks because that’s when they already started forming the outline of a human body. We shouldn’t hide the fact that abortion is murder. Charlotte Taft said, “We were hiding … some pieces of the truth about abortion that were threatening. [Abortion] is a kind of killing, and most women seeking abortion know that.” (Dallas Morning News). This means that everyone knows that they are killing a living being, so they know it’s murder. However, they don’t want to agree with it. Why? Because they don’t want to know that they just killed their own flesh and blood, so they make themselves believe that it is okay.
When you consider the fact that you can put the baby up for adoption, realize that the fetus still feels pain once it’s at 20 weeks, and that abortion is technically murder. You can change your mind about abortion. Sometimes you just have to ask yourselves upon seeing or listening to all the abortions that have been allowed. Even if you’re against or with abortion. Why should you let something that is formed into a human being, that has hands, fingers, legs, feet, arms, shoulders, and a head, become a victim to a cruel death that they

Abortion is a very touchy subject to a lot of people. Sometimes you can't even say the word "abortion" without getting disgusted looks from the people around you or getting a lecture about why it's a good thing. Abortion is not a good thing. Why should an innocent life be taken without even having the ability to defend itself? Why should a living thing be told that it doesn't have feelings or that it doesn't matter?…

Once the egg becomes fertilized, the fetus then has a heartbeat and doing something to end that heartbeat is essentially ending the child’s life. Although having an abortion is not illegal, many people still consider it to be murder. The argument that the pro-life supporters make is that the child has a right to live. In a sense it’s not the child’s fault that they were created, so that child shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences. Some people also believe it is harmful to the child to do the surgical procedure because the child is physically suctioned out of the mothers body.…

No one has the right to take away someone else 's life, whether it be in the womb or out it is still wrong and unjust. A fetus gets no say in the decision to get the procedure or not which makes it extremely unfair to them. Who knows that baby could have had the cure for cancer some day when they grew up, but that opportunity was taken from them. Many moms do not realize that later on in life they will have regrets that they did not get to keep someone they created. Something that was literally inside of…

Defunding Planned Parenthood could result in way more unplanned pregnancies and even more abortions. Many would be willing to say that the previous statement is wrong, but yet they are unable to name another facility willing to help women of all ages with little to no money. Yes, most clinics in America offer the same things that Planned Parenthood offers but, at a cost. Most clinics require some form of insurance and copay, that is where Planned Parenthood comes into play. Planned Parenthood offers all forms of contraception, STD testing, Cancer screenings, Pregnancy tests, and of course the sore subject of abortion is offered there.…

Living in a world filled with people of different cultures, religions, and personalities, it is impossible to think that with every situation that presents itself in American that mutual agreement upon it will be made. In the news, we constantly hear debates about gay-marriage, police brutality, racism, and many other incidents in America that bring out the inner activists of our people. Most debates over these controversies are no surprise to the public because they have been going on for years. One in particular is the debate about abortions. Since 1973, the world has been divided into two distinct groups of “Pro-life” and “Pro-choice” due to the landmark case of Roe v. Wade.…

Abortion is a touchy issue. Many say it is okay, others are totally against it, and some think it’s acceptable, depending of the circumstances. In my opinion, it’s wrong and not at all necessary, unless in the case of pregnancy, the mother is informed she will perish during the pregnancy term. Science continues to say a fetus is only a small “lump of tissue” but it isn’t, it’s human, it is a life. We are taught, “You shall not murder,” yet there are about 100, 000 lives aborted yearly.…

People are known for having sympathetic feelings to a child who is visible over the unborn fetus. However, pro-life activists hold that emotions that cannot form a basis for justifying birth. With the fetus being born or not being born; the fetus does have a chance in becoming a full human being. Viability of a fetus to survive outside the womb independently is when the fetus is able to get that ‘full human being’ status. Abortion also raises ethical issues of character.…

In 2011, about 1.1 million abortions were performed in the United States which is equivalent to 3,300 abortions per day. Based on these statistics from the article: “Abortion incidence and Service Availability in the US, 2011” it demonstrates how abortion is one of the most controversial issues in today 's society. There are many women who are completely against it, however, there might be others who believe that abortion is a reasonable choice. Under the Constitutional right, a woman has the liberty to control her body, which means she has the ability to terminate a pregnancy.…

And honestly, Abortion just seems to be nearly close to being just like murder. First of all, fetuses are capable of feeling pain. According to scans of very young fetuses, even as early as 12 weeks, they will have, even if they are small, fully formed human beings, they will have eyes, and…

Advocates are desperately trying to stop the murder of unborn babies because it is morally wrong. Murdering someone is illegal, so murdering an unborn baby should be illegal, too. An unborn baby is very similar to an elderly person, in that there are quite a few elderly in nursing homes, but we aren’t killing them. We aren’t killing them because it is morally wrong, so why are we killing unborn babies? There is absolutely no reason to have an abortion unless it is going to result in the death of both the mother and child.…

Abortion is a huge problem that has caused a wide range of controversy all over the United States. There are two sides to the problem, which are people who oppose abortion or support it. Abortion becomes a big deal when trying to decide whether a fetus should be considered a human being already when a woman aborts. In my case I believe that a woman should not be able to abort a child inside her unless there is some type of serious medical issue where the child may not come out alive. When a woman aborts a child, they did not want, it is like the killing of another human being who had no say or ever did anything wrong to deserve it.…

Abortion has been around for quit sometime now, and its support is only getting stronger. Advocates of abortion emphasize one’s ability to have the choice of whether that person wants to keep the baby or not. They believe that the person that was conceived is technically not a human being yet, and is a person once the mother has given birth to the child. Because they believe that the person they are aborting is not a human, it is then okay to end its life. They make arguments such as having the option of abortion will help victims of rape, incest, or if the person is just not ready to have a child.…
