In 1933 Hitler began his 12-year reign of terror. Adolf Hitler was a tyrant who was the cause of world war II. Hitler became powerful with Germany needing someone to make them strong. As he came to power he made himself more powerful and made the times worse for people he claimed to be “undesirables”.
Hitler gained and gained power until he was really powerful. “Paul Von Hindenburg had appointed Hitler Chancellor (similar to prime minister).” (Smith,15). This shows that Hitler was put in charge with support. This is important because this is when Hitler first started getting his power. All Hitler’s power started with Paul Von Hindenburg elected Hitler as Chancellor.
Germany was so needy at the time and wanted someone to make them better.
