Both Romeo and Juliet risked a lot of things in order to be together. When Romeo spots Juliet from the other side of the room, he is instantly drawn to her. When he finally is able to speak to her, he sweet talks her and they both end up sharing a kiss at the end of the night. After the party, Romeo wanders off with his friends to gather his thoughts together. While he is wandering around he notices Juliet on her balcony. While she is on there, she is talking to herself about Romeo. “O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet.” In this line, Juliet is saying that if Romeo doesn't leave his family for her, but yet he says he loves her then she will leave hers. This proves that their love is so strong that they were willing to choose each other over family. During the rest of the night, Romeo and Juliet passionately declare their love for each other and decide to make the decision to marry each other. The day of the marriage between Romeo and Juliet arrives and on the same day, there is a duel between Mercutio and Tybalt. At first, Tybalt wanted to duel with Romeo but Romeo refuses because since he was recently married to Juliet. After Mercutio is killed defending Romeo’s honor, Romeo takes it among himself to avenge him. Romeo ends up killing Tybalt and is later sentenced to banishment.
