This story makes the reader develop many questions about how their life turned out. The man’s case on having the abortion was pretty soiled. His opinions on the matter changed Jibs first decision to consider that he was right. Jib felt if she did have the baby this would make them both happy. The man raised a question about the baby being what was in their way of happiness. When the male said this to Jib I was in complete an utter shock. How can you make such a wild assumptions if they did have the baby it would make them miserable. His words were in full control of Jib. Her actions were controlled by the bold statements he man made. Towards the end of the story Jib had a chance to go on the train, have the abortion or to be fully confident in her decision to not have the abortion. The result was Jib going on the train. The man persuasive words made her feel her actions were wrong. Us the readers wonder if Jib should have went with her first decision. If it as the right thing to
