My own view is that animal experimentation should become ilegal and all of the new alternative methods should be brought forward and placed into action. While I argue that the alternative method of 3D skin printing can be used instead of animal testing, the opposing view believes that animal testing is far more less expensive than printing off artificial skin. I reply that a animal testing is unnecessary and invasive for the innocent animals and costs more than to print artificial skin. One of the only reasons why scientists do not switch to the less invasive methods is because of the financial factor. T Hartung and Fp Gruber imply that “A financial incentive is necessary to change procedures in basic research to animal free procedures. Ethical considerations alone will bring little movement or change. It is unacceptable that, while numbers of animal tests decrease in development and notification of drugs and chemicals, they are increasing in basic research (Hartung)”. In other words as animal testing decreases in the development of drugs spectrum they are still increasing how many tests are done. Also, some may argue that animal testing has brought many successes in the pharmaceutical world to cure certain diseases or newly found bacteria. There have been some successful tests that have been performed animals such as finding a treatment for the virus called, Marburg. Researchers have found …show more content…
In the future i see this issue not being overlooked because of the on going campaign to abolish animal experimentation. The truth will be told about every single product one buys, from household cleaners to cosmetic products. I believe this issue will become a huge debate everyone will start to look at the labels of products they would like to buy and question themselves is it really worth it to spend our money on a product that has hurt an innocent animals. Animal experimentation is unnecessary and animals do not deserve to hurt in result of human demands in
