“Discrimination, racism and prejudice all fit together to constitute a prime cause of poverty.” (Five Causes of Poverty) Unfortunately it is common for someone of color to be discriminated against because of their religious beliefs and skin color. However, this can be overcome by fighting against the systematic oppression our governments forces upon us. We can do this by protesting to raise awareness for this social problem. We can also provide services for youth and adults to gain them access to training and employment opportunities. Which will lead to economic success in the impoverished communities. Creating more jobs will employ millions and improve the economy. In Borgen Magazine’s article “10 Solutions to World Hunger” written by Priscilla Rodarte she says “If wealth is not redistributed or incomes are not made to be more equal, poverty will always remain a huge issue.”
