In my situation there may be many solutions because my stress involves many aspects of my life. I may decide to take one plan of action like having someone show me around campus and help me with my classes. After a while, I will pick the next most important idea to me. The last step would be to actually implement my plan of action. During this time I would get a tutor and have someone show me around campus to get use to the environment. That doesn’t mean I ignore everything else like cleaning or cooking in general. I just implement one task at a time. If I am ignoring other things that are leading to major problems then I can be flexible and change my plan of action. Other problem-focused coping ideas that I feel would be extremely helpful is seeking help and improving time management. To seek help I would surround myself with my friends, roommates, and family. Having social support will help increase physiological reactivity to my stressful situation and increase evaluation apprehension. Improving my time management skills will increase with time and experience. To help I could use a planner or a calendar to make sure I don’t forget about important deadlines and to keep on track with academics and the rest of
