With this in mind, I saw many examples in my Country that I could certified that Labor Unions has a huge importance to the works rights ( If does not exist Labor Unions or “Sindicatos”, many workers could be “hostages” of their own employees, because of the fear to show their discontent about their jobs). It was a Brazilian Union in benefit own Brazilians, PRO-society. Everything started because of 20 cents that the Government would like to add to the ticket´s price of public transportation. In addition, I consider it as a Labor Union of the country, because all the Brazilians were outraged by the abuses of taxes, the huge investment in the World Cup (the Government invested billions in the World Cup, but the country does not have infrastructure in hospitals, schools, education and transport; including corruption and money deviation).
In conclusion, I am PRO Labor Unions, but a Labor Union PRO society and not PRO own interests. The two first cases that I cited in the previous paragraphs are very radical because affect many people including people who does not want to be affected, and in my point of view some Labor Unions are kind of abusing of their power of persuasion, striking all the time to have their desires met.
The struggles that I saw in the Power Point examples are real cases of pro-group, pro-workers. But sometimes in my reality I feel like these Unions in Brazil act like spoiled child and they do something to have what they want, and it does not matter who they will affect they want it,
