Why Medical Marijuana should be available for people who need it.

Marijuana. You hear about it on the news, people smuggling it, growing it, it's everywhere. Although many would argue that weed is an appalling drug used by lazy lowlifes, that statement isn’t 100% true. Medical marijuana should be legal, not only for those with anxiety and depression, but those with diseases and disorders that weed can fix. This article will argue that medical marijuana is a must for lots of people for diseases. Medical weed is needed by many, but available for few.
Cannabis can be used in life or death situations that legal drugs can not.

Another myth about marijuana is that you can get addicted and cause harm to your body by smoking it.
A poll taken from The Washington Post shows that out of alcohol, tobacco, and weed, alcohol is the biggest gateway drug and it is 100% legal. Alcohol has also killed 88,000 people every year from 2006-2010 says the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
Tobacco takes 480,000 lives in one year, and that is only in the U.S! 41,000 people die each year from secondhand smoke also.

The provided evidence proves that medical marijuana can save lives! Many people associate bad people with medical marijuana, but they are 100% wrong. Many people use weed because of diseases, from cancer to depression. Another point many people argue is that there are legal prescriptions that work better than cannabis, and although this may be true, death can be the result of an overdose.
