The sinking of the Titanic was a tragic event. Everyone was devastated because of the most advanced ship of the time sunk, About the Titanic, the sinking, and about the survivors are in the following paragraphs. The Titanic was a tragic event that isn’t uncovered all the way yet. (history.com)

If you have ever wondered about the Titanic you won’t have to anymore. The Titanic was 269.1 meters long making it the largest ship of its time. It had cost $7500000 to build it. It carried 2223 people and 20 lifeboats. it could carry 64 lifeboats but they thought that it wouldn't sink so they didn't carry as many as they needed. The Titanic was big and a lot was put into it. The Titanic started its voyage at 11:40 pm april 14 1912 and sunk 2:20 am. The Titanic sank in the North Atlantic Ocean near Canada. It took 74 years to find the titanic. The iceberg that sunk the titanic was believed to be 50 to 100 feet high. There were about 705 survivors on the Titanic when there should have been more.Most of the survivors were women and children. They were mostly women and children because they said women and children first. Because of so many people dying they called the titanic the underwater grave. The survivors were scarred for life. Now that you know more about the Titanic you probably changed your thought on it. The Titanic building, sinking, and survivors are just some of the many important things about the titanic. Everyone still remembers the Titanic and think that it's gonna happen again. I think that everyone should learn about what happened to the Titanic and learn from what happened.
