The negative side of so much technology is presented in the piece in that, too much of a wonderful thing may not be healthy. The amount of technology in the children’s lives ultimately instigated a negative effect on the relationship with their parents. In the end, the relationship was completely severed as the children felt threatened by the removal of their technology; therefore, they slaughtered their parents (Bradbury).
