Personal, cultural and spiritual values are learned in the beginning stages of life from people who take part in a child’s upbringing. Personal, cultural and spiritual values are “very resistant to change and develop [from] direct experience” (Warne, 2008). That being said, the personal values of this writer include being respectful of other people’s beliefs and traditions and not being judgmental when those beliefs vary from her own.
