Being part of a multicultural country, the feeling of belonging in a united place isn’t present till this day. People will associate themselves with the population that shares the same common will or common glory therefore the feeling of unity doesn’t exist. Others also do disagree with the idea that Canada is a nation such as former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau who has previously said that just because we share the same or similar beliefs and values doesn’t necessarily promote Canada as a nation. Around that time a person from a different cultural group can come into contact with different traditions and ideas that will later on connect us together. But living in different regions, and still being part of different cultures , also having different backgrounds , different history, having different personal experiences and speaking different languages are still some of the problems that Canada has to face while trying to become a united
