Today, we have two major political parties. These two major political parties are known as the Republicans and Democrats. On the other hand, there are also third parties which include any other political parties that are not any of these two major political parties. The Republicans and the Democrats are often opposed by third parties. Third parties are also known as minor parties. Even though they don’t have much recognition, they in fact do exist in the American political system.
