Discrimination can happen to anyone of all kinds of shapes, sizes, colors, etc; however the ones who are actually differentiated against lose opportunities that could impact their future. Personally, my friend was thought differently of by my parents for his race; I strongly disagree with their pessimistic view on interracial relationships and close friendships. However, I have to live with this decision they made, leaving my future to only consist of choosing someone of my color for a relationship (at least until I get out of the house). Everyday, individuals are turned down for things such as jobs, college, relationships (the list goes on and on) just for someone looking down upon them for their appearance, situation, and several other reasons. These victims are forced to live through being wrongly judged based on someone’s opinion; their options are narrowed down, which takes a toll on their futuristic choices for the rest of their
