In today’s society texting and driving has become a huge issue. Texting while driving has caused many tragic accidents and destroyed many people’s lives. People now days feel that they need to answer a call as soon as they hear their phone ring or if they receive a text. Texting while driving is just as worst as drunk driving it does not end well. There are many people out there driving who get distracted easily but texting while driving is one of the biggest distractions there could be for people. This is a distraction when driving, although the person may not be looking directly at their phones they are still being distracted. When a person is driving their attention should be fully focused on the road and those around. Accidents happen way too many times due to the fact someone took their eyes of the road. “As the cell phone industry continues to grow and cell phones become more advanced, so too do the problems associated with using them while driving a motor vehicle.”(Shannon L Noder).
