Of Mice and Men, a novella written by John Steinbeck, tells the tale of George Milton and Lennie Small, two men who had a dream during the Great Depression. However, their fantasy is unlike the other fantasies of migrant workers in the 1930s. My dream of a successful life near the mountains involves several similarities and differences to the one that George and Lennie always intended to experience. Washington, an area numerous in mountains and forests, is a breathtakingly beautiful state that I wish to live in one day among the people I love. I would live in an area where, if perhaps I looked out my window, I would be reminded every day of God’s beautiful creation. Located behind my home would be Mount Olympus or Mount Rainer, along with
