Because he/she was created by God, one cannot end it just because they have a terminal illness or want to die. “ You can place a price on things, but not on human persons who are created by God and who are called by God, each one, to union with him in the unimaginable joy of eternal life in heaven” ( Assisted Suicide, 2012). This quote is basically stating that one cannot decide whether one is mentally stable or physically stable, and that life is not valued like an item. Life is not like an item that one can just get rid of once its broken, meaning one cannot just decide to end it without Gods will. One is supposed to live life until it is meant to be lived and the way one physically and mentally. For example the Dignity law Oregon, is a law that allows Oregon residents to get assisted death by a physician if the person requesting their death has only six months to live. The person requesting this must have only six months to live and must be in a good mental state to do so. Of course, many will probably disagree on the grounds that it is not morally right to just end help end someone else’s life. They will say it is wrong because they might still have a chance to be cured. But if the person is in pain and cannot tolerate to keep living on with it, they should be allowed to use euthanasia. “ The Oregon experience has caused even staunch opponents to admit that continued opposition to such a law can only be based on personal, moral, or religious grounds” ( Kathryn L. This quote is basically saying that opponents of euthanasia/ assisted suicide really don’t have an argument as to why it’s wrong because it can only be based on personal, moral and religious
