In the book “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller, Arthur writes about how life in Salem used to be like. In earlier times, when the church and the government were practically linked and valued equally, people would exaggerate about unrealistic phenomenons and not see the harm or ridicule in it. “I’d rather die standing, than live on my knees” (Charlie Hebdo), back then people were so fed up with madness that they didn’t find any faults in their beliefs, there was no hero in Salem who spoke for all. One of the characters who somehow kept proving this statement was Abigail. Abigail Williams a young girl, around 12-17 years of age, she is well known as one of the main characters in the Crucible because of her villainous acts. Abigail Williams
