why would you blame anyone but the people who killed themselves. You could look at this

situation now and say that it was the Friar, but in the end it all comes down to Juliet.

Juliet is the person who wanted to kill herself in the beginning. She could have dealt

with it and been with Paris. You never know; she could have learned to love him. Or

she could have ran away with romeo. It’s not like they had the internet and technology we

have now to find them. In Act 5, scene 3 she immediately wants to kill herself. This shows

she is mentally unstable. Drinking the potion wasn’t very smart in the beginning. There were

The Friar is to blame for all that was happening. If he would have brought that letter to romeo then he might not have even had to kill himself. Even though the Friar got stuck trying not to catch the black plague he still should’ve at least try to make it to Romeo. The Friar could’ve legitimately kill juliet if he gave her the wrong potion. A quote regarding blame is excerpted out of the book, It’s Not My Fault: The No-Excuse Plan for Overcoming Life’s Obstacles written by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, “We live in a culture of blame. People will blame anyone or anything for their misery sooner than take the responsibility to own it and make it better”. This quote strongly agrees with the idea of other factors whom are to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because it speaks of people blaming others for things that they could have done, and in this case Romeo and Juliet can blame many people for their deaths, but at the end of the day it is truly them who committed suicide and ended their deaths. People are afraid to come forward and take responsibility of the things they did, so they resort to pointing fingers and endlessly coming up with excuses as to why the scenario occurred, but upon realizing the true cause of the situation, themselves, they can dissect what happened and prevent something like that from ever occurring…
