Marihuana is a drug that is becoming more popular as the days pass but many people still believe it should stay illegal just like the way many people believe it should be legalized. If marijuana was to stay illegal its causes and effects would remain the same, if it were to be legalized the causes and effect would vary from the ones right now but many causes and effects would continue to be discussed. If marijuana was to be legalized there would be many positive effects on it as well as many negative effects , just the way there is many positive and negative effects now at the moment that it is illegal . It is also believed that the obesity rate would increase tremendously because there would be more marihuana smoking involved than right now and it is a proven fact that smoking marijuana causes people to gain weight due to the crave let out by someone when he or she smokes marihuana . Many people have also lost their families since they give up everything for smoking marihuana including money, because marihuana is a very expensive habit. Marihuana smokers are more likely to shrink their brain and have a mind of someone a lot younger which has been shown in many daily marijuana users which are one of the many ways marihuana can cause brains / a brain / the brain damage. It is also said that it lowers IQs it was once tested for a non-marihuana smoker who then started smoking for some years and his IQ had lowered tremendously This is another of the ways your brain can be damaged which is why it is believed still by many people marihuana’s should remain illegal …show more content…
These are some of the basic ways of brains / a brain / the brain damage there is a lot more ways that it can also be damaged by smoking marihuana. Memory is also a main factor of smoking marihuana they say heavy marijuana smokers have a tendency towards losing their memory a lot quicker than a non-smoker many people believe this is one of the major reasons marihuana hasn't become legal. Most people that believe marijuana should be legalized have a theory that smokers will continue to smoke illegally or legally and that it should just be legalized for government purposes for example people in Mexico would stop dying due to violence caused by the marihuana smuggling into the U.S., there would be less criminals in prisons, all those who deal which would be one less expense for the government. Marihuana can also cause less debt if they would legalize and tax it and a high percentage of U.S. citizen's smoke which would make a lot of tax money if they tax it at a high rate.
