Most folktales are filled with hidden messages and offer moral guidance. For example, “Why the Sister In Black Works Hardest” in this story it illustrates how black women are below all others even the black men. It’s not something that is new. Or something that black women are afraid of its something that they have seen from their grandmothers, aunties, and mothers. “So she runs and grabbed a-hold of de box and opened it up and it was full of hard work.“Dat's de reason de sister in black works harder than anybody else in de world.
