Vaping is becoming the new fad in high schools everywhere. Teens treat vaping as a way to pass time and relax, but the vaping epidemic is comparable to what the world went through with cigarettes. The cigarette epidemic started with people using cigarettes without knowing the side effects. Teens nowadays don’t know about the harmful effects that vape pens cause. People try to say that e-cigarettes aren’t as bad as they seem, but the article “Warning: Vaping Teens Becoming a New Generation of Nicotine Addicts” by USAToday.com says otherwise. As of right now, there are fewer restrictions and warnings on vape pens as there are on cigarettes; as a result, teens are getting their hands on products just as dangerous as cigarettes with ease.
