William Tyndale is the first man to write the first English Bible. There was another man who tried to do it but failed because it was banned. William Tyndale's problem with trying to make it was that England only allowed Latin Bibles. He believed that the Scripture should be available to everyone. He worked very hard and tirelessly to write all the languages. In 1524 he had to leave because what he was doing was illegal there in England.. William went to Germany and some Officials raided William Tyndale's printing press. He fled somewhere else to continue his work. William ended up printing six thousand copies. Later he snuck into England with the Bibles. The Church of England found out and had a war trying to burn all of Bibles. William Tyndale
