Through these events, this essay will be able to prove that without women revolutionaries and their goal for women’s rights, the French Revolution would not have reached its full potential of success and change. Women of the French Revolution faced many hardships and created a set of ideologies on how France could be a better country for women to live in. These ideologies were written down by Olympe De Gouges in September 1791 during the peak of the French Revolution. It is crucial to understand the important parts that the women had in the revolution such as the Storming of Versailles and the Bread Riots as these events helped to progress the French Revolution as lead it to all the changes it created throughout Paris. The French Revolution may not have turned out the same way it did if women had not been supported and had the strength to push for the rights that they wanted.
