    My project is on D.B. Cooper who is known for his famous airplane hijack. D.B. Cooper was getting on Airlines flight #305 in Portland bound for Seattle. While the plane was in the air he told a flight attendant that he had a bomb in his briefcase by opening his briefcase showing some exposed cables. He demanded 200k in cash (1.2 million in today’s value), four parachutes and food for the crew before releasing the passengers. The 200k he demanded were in twenty dollars bills, he tied the bag of money to himself he jumped off the plane somewhere North of Portland. Approximately 1,000 troops searched for D.B Cooper or his body but there was no sign of his body the money nor the parachutes he used. Nine years later there was a young boy digging a fire pit where he discovered three bundles of cash this was one clue to D.B Cooper disappearance. Upon this clue FBI searched the hole beach, the river was dredged by Cooper Hunters and theories on where the money ended this supercharged D.B Cooper legend. I believe that D.B Cooper never died nor that he escaped with the money. My reason for believing that he didn’t die is because the parachutes nor his body was found.
