During my field experience I got to observe a 4th grade classroom at Mason Intermediate School and an 8th grade class at Fairfield Middle School. When I was in middle school, I was teased a lot because of my name, Tushaar. Students in my school called me Tush or Tush-butt, short for buttocks. Some twisted my name in other ways and called me Tissue or Tissue box. They would laugh and make fun of me in classrooms, lunch and recess.
