Maturational crisis has to do with the expectable transitions people experience as they move from one stage of human development to another. Maturational crisis are crisis in response to facing a new developmental phase (Gorman 2008). For example, a teenager calls the clinic because she just finds out she is pregnant. As always, the first step is to assess the teenage girl. Identify three factors to determine the development of a crisis.
