Cross matching is the procedure by which we can know that which recipient’s s are supposed to develop acute rejection against the transplanted graft from given donor. This process of rejection can be classified as hyper acute rejection in which there are development of antibodies to one or more human leucocyte antigens of the donor and are called donor specific antibodies (DS Abs). These antibodies developed because of any previous exposure to human leukocyte antigen, such as in case of blood transfusion, via pregnancy and if having history of previous transplantation.
