The world today has become completely dependent on what electricity provides. For example, electricity provides the world the power to run a light bulb, television and a telephone. These are only a small percentage of what electricity provides the world with, however, they are rather important in the present world. Light bulbs are used every day to provide people with light. Though often taken for granted, light bulbs are essential to everyday living. Before electricity, the only light source that was available was natural light from the sun or moon and fire. These sources of light are rather inconvenient because they are not available all hours of the day. However, due to the advancement of technology, light is now conveniently available at all times. Railways are one of the earliest modes of transportation. It was one of the first vehicles in which was able to transport people far and long distances in a short amount of time. Before railways, people had to walk in order to get from one location to another. There had not yet been an invention to make travelling easier. Due to this fact, people often used to stay where they were and never ventured out too far. It was all just too much to handle and too difficult to endure. Railways changed all of this. Migration is one of the biggest impacts that the Railway has had on society. Since people are now able to travel long distance without doing much work and in a shortened amount of time, travelling has become extremely popular and common.
