Therapy
Therapy is defined by the Oxford dictionary as the treatment intended to relieve or heal a disorder or treatment of mental or psychological disorders by psychological means.
When we study the definition of coaching, mentoring, counseling and therapy we can see a clear distinction from all of these topics. Where coaching and mentoring is goal driven and also to some extent the wellbeing of the individual counselling and therapy primary focus on psychological problems of the individual and is concerned with the mental health of the individual.
PLANNING THE COACHING AND MENTORING SESSION

A coach should pay equal attention to the effectiveness of the coaching sessions and the progress in obtaining goals. A review activity explores the productivity of the coaching sessions. The impact of the sessions on the coachee. Whether the style of the coach or approach is effective. Resolving outstanding issues and improving on sessions. However there should be a balance on how much time is spent reviewing and how much time is spent with actual coaching. By doing this we are affirming learning with the coaching and linking learning to results. Results could be the coachee realisation of the benefit of coaching. Changes in behaviour or learning new behaviours with positive results and the organizations benefit with for instance increase in productivity. We then link the coaching to
