The one minute management techniques that I would apply in my life would be praising. The one minute praising seems very benefits for me since I’m able to apply it immediately. Since, I never been properly trained at my work, I wish I know what my responsibility were. I thought I was doing a great job since I never got in trouble, however, I never truly feel like I was producing great result. I would apply this technique by observing new employees in the beginning to properly show them their responsibilities. When I would catch them doing a task perfect then I would explain it specific of what they actual did right. By doing this it will boost their motivation which would increase productive. Also, letting them how proud I’m of what they just accomplished. By doing this, it will help them reach their full potential. Then I would give them a hand shake to acknowledge them by giving a moment of silence to let them reflect on what they did. I would always focus on what employees did properly instead of what they did wrong. If I got in trouble for doing something wrong, I would be in an extremely bad mood for the rest of my shift. Being yell at decrease productively in the organization. I would rather have someone who encourages and supports me. Also, I could use this different situation, for instance, supporting my friend when they had a good decision instead of talking about the cons. Basically training my mind to look for the good in people instead of the negatively. Also, I could use this technique on myself. When things don’t go according to plan, I would remind myself what I have accomplished to boost my motivation to keep producing great
