The definition of pain is the physical suffering caused by illness or injury. So, why does it hurt so bad?

That was the moment I started eating “healthy” and sometimes not at all.
“I knew you would choose the right thing. I can’t have you fat for tonight.” He said walking into his kitchen.
“What happens tonight?” I yelled from the living room. “It’s a surprise.” He yelled back
When we got done eating he told me to go up stairs and wait for him. I did just that. I didn’t have to wait very long, though. After a couple of minutes he came walking up the stairs, placing a hand on my shoulder and leading me into a room, I presumed to be his. That night he did the unthinkable. But, 10 year old me didn’t know what sex was, let alone rape. So, what was I supposed to do? Exactly, nothing. Which ended up in my favor because the next time I came over I was told to keep my mouth shut about anything and everything that happened at his house.
