Despite being the only Logistic Specialist in an Information Warfare Community at the Detachment, her high personal standards and professional attitudes have earned her the number one Petty Officer Second Class for three consecutive years out the three highly competitive Second Classes at the Detachment.
- As Asset Manager, she led a joint team of five military personnel, two Master Labor Contractors and three civilian contractors in a span of three months conducting the annual asset inventory, while revamping the local asset inventory program. She physically inventoried 528 secured internet protocol router and 3,015 non-secured internet protocol router assets in 109 facilities located in different geographical areas within the Kyushu region.
- She created and implemented a consolidated Detachment inventory system in order to centralize and create positive control over assets. She meticulously inventoried and tracked 1,200 Windows workstations, ensuring Outside Continental United States Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) assets were secure and readily available during the FY 2014, FY 2015 and FY 2016 personal computer refresh; flawlessly prepared and executed the disposition of more than $1.4M in ONE-Net assets including the reutilization of 440 …show more content…
Her engaged leadership and teamwork provided a positive guidance and professional development to her subordinates and peers which helped strengthen our future Sailors to further advance in their naval careers.
- As Commander, Fleet Activity Sasebo (CFAS) SAPR VA, she selflessly volunteered 14 off-duty hours standing SAPR VA watch in an effort to ensure services and support were provided around the clock to prevent and support over 7,000 personnel onboard the CFAS installation. As Second Class Petty Officer Association (SCPOA) Treasurer, she raised and managed $3,000 from seven highly visible events involving more than 5,000 Sailors and civilians onboard the Naval Installation Sasebo.
- During her time in Sasebo, she has volunteered over 80 off-duty hours into serving the local community including CFAS Science Fair, Seifun Orphanage, Darby Elementary School Field Day, Sasebo Beach Cleanup, 2016 Earth Day Color Run and SAPR VA Taking Back the Night Walk. She was instrumental in the successful coordination of three Community Relation projects, specifically Kusuzumi Day Care visit and NCTS Far East Detachment Sasebo Community
