The European imperialism was the biggest cause of World War I because the Britain, Germany, and France started expanding their land and colonies. This created huge tension among these nations regarding the land that each of them wanted. Lastly, the Nationalism also played a key role in causing the World War I. During that time, European nations were driven by nationalism. They believed that their own nation, language or culture is better than other nations. This created great competition and rivalry among the European nations to become the greatest nation in every aspect. This helped fueled the war.
