Delegation is when a person is to assign authority or responsibility to another person to carry out a specific duty. Delegation is one of the most important elements in terms of leadership management (Class notes, 2014). In the workplace this can empower staff to make decisions on their roles although the manager is still accountable for the outcome of the work.
When delegating roles this can have a positive income, this can be done as money and time can be saved, it can help motivate staff and build confidence. There will not always be positive outcome when delegating as it may sometimes cause frustration, confusion and unhappy staff.

There are tasks that need to be completed over all and within different groups. Budget is a huge aspect and task that needs to be monitored in both individuals and group tasks. There is an overall budget of €900 with each stall receiving €128.57 there are two people over the overall budge but it’s up to each country group to keep track of their spending expenses.
There is a task of deciding the layout for the event and making sure that all stalls have access to a power point if needed. Another task delegated was to ensure that all stalls have the equipment needed for the event, including cutlery, extension leads, decorating equipment and any other equipment needed for their stall for the event. If any equipment needed is not already in the college, people will have to source it and price it up so the different stalls will be able to go out and purchase if needed.

Team Member A: Team member A has great organisation skills, they are well prepared with information and completed tasks before our next class meeting or our next class. They are well prepared and know how they want the task to be completed and is reasonable enough to trust with the fund for the event and know how to deal well with people and communicating with different people in different situations.
Team Member B: Team member B has very strong technology skills. They are able to make and design posters on computers using different systems to find the best one. They also have strong skills when using social media and other technology.
