Non-ETOPS. 60 minutes. NOT destination, ETOPS, or Method II enroute alternate. Required: one open runway with an approach meeting: 1. Visibility. 2. Limit 30 kt x-wind & 10 kt tailwind. 3. MEL items affecting CAT I/II/III capability are considered. NOT considered: 1. NOTAMS 2. High Min Captain constraints. Once aircraft is airborne, Dispatch DOES NOT monitor. |

TO: same as domestic Destination: unless exemption below, must have alternate. Six-hour Rule: Scheduled for less than 6 hours. 1 hour before to 1 hour after: •Ceiling -If circling, at least 1500ft above lowest MDA. -If straight-in, at least 1500ft above lowest published min or 2000ft above airport elevation, whichever is higher. •Visibility-3 miles or 2 miles more than applicable vis, whichever is greater, for approach to be used. Destinations Approved With No Alternate: Weather is forecast to be at or above landing minimums at the ETA and 2-hr fuel reserves are used. |
