I believe that the fault falls more towards Friar Lawrence. I say this because he is the one that came up with the plan for Romeo and Juliet to follow through that became a disaster. He gave Juliet the poison that made her seem cold and dead which lead to Romeo thinking that she actually was dead that then made Romeo’s decided action to kill himself. Now because Romeo killed himself, it caused Juliet as well to also kill herself when she woke up from the poison. Therefore, they each ended up dead at the end due to suicide. This shows that if Friar Lawrence didn’t come up with that plan or didn’t give Juliet that poison, it wouldn’t of lead to the result of any of their decided actions on their suicides.
