Pursuing The Nursing Profession

Providing basic care to people is an essential role of the nursing profession, especially for those of whom it is too costly to see a doctor for simple ailments. Due to the unpredictability and intricacy of sicknesses and wounds, there will always be a need for nurses. The reason for this is because nurses are usually more readily available than doctors when such emergencies take place. I believe that in the future, with the proper education, I can fully contribute myself to such a vital profession. My education for this future I have set for myself begins now with the course Nursing Education (6000). Nurses need to be many things, but above all, they need to be dependable and hardworking. An example of this is getting to work on time and as scheduled; also following through and finishing all assigned tasks. I consider myself to be a very hardworking person, and I always try to do things to the best of my ability. In May of 2016, I was selected as student of the month. I feel that with the hard work and dedication that I possess, I will be able to achieve my long-term goal of becoming a nurse. My diverse characteristics and the completion of this course will make me an asset to the field of nursing and ensure my complete success. I have chosen the field of nursing as my career because I love learning new things. As a nurse, I would always be challenging myself to keep current on medical trends and training so that I can provide the best care to my patients. Every day, I will learn something new from my colleagues and patients, which inspires me to explore deeper knowledge of the techniques and procedures that I will use. Taking this class would benefit me for my entire life as I go into my future
