F. Scott Fitzgerald presents many themes throughout the novel, The Great Gatsby. In the book
Fitzgerald shows how Gatsby isolation from everybody. He always wasn’t with his guessed at his parties. He never drinks at all. Myrtle always kept Mr. Wilson from knowing she was cheating on him and not going to visit her cousin in town. Tom was always cheating on daisy with every girl he liked.
Throughout all the people who isolated themselves so people would know only the good side in them and nothing else. Gatsby was hiding his past, present from everybody he knew. The only person he told his whole story was Nick. Gatsby kept himself this way to be known in the real world as a hero and a millionaire.
