There are many genetic traits out there in the world, but if I could only have one that I could pass down to future generations, it would be The Force from Star Wars. I would want to have The Force because I would be able to read and control everyone's mind, and I would be able to move objects, no matter how big or small. I could, dare I say it, rule the world. I would be able to save people with the Force and help prevent future attacks from occuring. I could also help the government by getting involved with the CIA, and by using my special abilities, I could search for terrorists and fugitives that have escaped.…

Due to my ADD I have always struggle with memory and I have to set reminders for the most basic of tasks but when it comes to Star Wars trivia I can remember anything. When I was five years old I went to watch Revenge of the Sith in theaters with my dad and I can remember it like it was yesterday. Throughout the movie I would bug my father “when is the next fight scene” not realizing that this is the first time he had seen this.…

There is no denying that George Lucas’ Star Wars is one of the greatest film franchises that will ever exist on the big screen. The Force Awakens, the newest film, has been criticized by some fans for copying the story of the original 1977 trilogy. Although there are some similarities between the two films’ plots, the story of the original films can be connected to the heroic plot traditions of Lord Raglan, and Luke Skywalker’s character reflects the virtues outlined in Alasdair MacIntyre’s After Virtue. There is also reason to believe that Luke’s story will have a tragic end, much like the stories of ancient Greece. This paper will make references to the original Star Wars trilogy (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi),…
