The Internet has a very strong influence on American couples- positive and negative. It has a significant effect on the American dating society. The Internet created marriages, children as a natural progression, jobs, connections through social media, degrees and convenience for couples. “It has also formed social conflicts, (Çakir, Ahmet 2015 pp.855-57) social issues, arguments, crime, divorces, laziness and lack of exposure to society.” The trends of the Internet are affecting the population on a regular basis. “Perceived usefulness has a significant positive effect on social relationships. Both perceived usefulness and social relationships influence travel information adoption. Lastly, the levels of argument quality and source credibility perceived by social media members were found to differ according to the level of social presence, that is, social media members’ levels of awareness of each other. The individuals that use social media developed social issues such as segregation and aggression amongst races. “Social media websites are designed to be widely accessible and initially attract homogeneous populations, so it is not uncommon to find groups using websites to segregate themselves according to nationality, age, educational level, or other factors that typically segment society.” (Correa, T., Hinsley et al,2016, p.26) The article also claims that it had different effects on men and women when compared. “However, men who were more extraverted and anxious were more likely to use social media.
