Araminta Harriet Ross, also known as Harriet Tubman, illuminated the world back in the 1849's. Then, she gave hope to all of those helpless slaves that were being tortured. After that, Harriet saved the lives of slaves who may be currently historical figures now. ''Harriet Tubman escaped her husband and plantation in 1849'' (Source 1). "In 1850, Harriet helped her first few slaves escape to the North" (Source 2). Harriet Tubman did illuminate this world with a bright light called determination and passion.
