Three axis of the aircraft |
Lateral axis (pitch) - extends from wingtip to wingtip and is controlled by the elevator. Longitudinal axis (roll) - extends from the nose through the tail and is controlled by the ailerons. Vertical axis (yaw) - passes vertically through the CG and is controlled by rudder. |

How is lift created |
Pressure and velocity are inversely proportional. Bernoulli's principle - when a mass of air flows around an airfoil. The side withe the camber will have less pressure because the velocity of the air over the wing is greater then that flowing under. As a Gass moves faster lower pressure is created. |
|
What is a stall? |
A stall is created when the aircraft exceeds the critical angle of attack |
|
What is Angle of Attack? |
The angle between the Chored line and the relative wind. |
