Under certain conditions a y photon may be converted into an electron and positron. What is this process called?

The y photon must have enough energy to be converted to the rest masses of both the electron and the positron. If the y photon has slightly more energy, the electron and positron will have kinetic energy when they're produced and will move away from each other
