The 18th amendment is the only amendment was repealed. This unpopular amendment banned the sale and drinking of alcohol in the United States. This amendment was created in 1919. |

An uprising led by a former militia officer, Daniel Shays, which broke out in western Massachusetts in 1786. Shays's followers protested the foreclosures of farms for debt and briefly succeeded in shutting down the court system. This rebellion caused everyone to want to add or change the articles of confederation |
